What is the difference between flatbed and step deck?
A standard flatbed deck sits about 5' high and handles freight up to roughly 8'6" tall. A step deck drops to about 3'6", allowing taller freight to stay within legal height.
Do you provide tarps?
Yes. Tarping requirements are confirmed at booking, including 6' or 8' lumber tarps, steel tarps, and smoke tarps where needed.
Can you move over dimensional flatbed freight?
Yes. Loads exceeding legal width, height, or length are handled through our heavy haul team with permits and escorts as required.
Who is responsible for loading?
The shipper typically loads, but the driver is responsible for securement. We confirm both roles up front so nobody is surprised at the dock.
